I aim to create a space in which you feel comfortable, safe and validated in sharing your experiences and stories. My hope is to help you feel empowered to move toward your goals and healing. In doing so, I'll seek to create a warm and genuine therapeutic relationship through empathy, compassion, and humor. I approach the therapeutic processes with a trauma-informed lens and cultural humility, and I am an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist.

I believe in using eclectic, individualized approaches that are client-centered, fitting with your own values, beliefs, experiences and goals. This can include solution-focused, strengths-based, systems, relational, cognitive, behavioral, mindful, and holistic approaches to wellness. I believe that there are many options available to feeling well and like your best self.

I have many years experience working with children, adolescents, and their families from many backgrounds on a variety of presenting concerns. This includes working as a behavioral practitioner with young children with developmental disabilities in a clinical setting, over seven years experience counseling in school settings, and serving as a counselor educator for graduate level students. I’ve engaged in training on a variety of specific topics including LGBTQIA+ supports, trauma-informed care, suicidal ideation, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and treatments. I’m particularly passionate about supporting families with prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, and childbearing.

I would be honored to hold space for all that you may carry with you, and support you with wherever it is you hope to go from here.
